ANTI-DIVE TECHNOLOGY

A standard telescopic fork dives under braking, losing up to 80% of its travel, and therefore shock absorbing capabilities. The Motion Antidive Frame has been specially conceived to solve this problem, so always has 100% of its travel ready to absorb impacts.

 

A Motion fork uses energy from braking to automatically and instantly compensate the forces generated by the transfer of mass, that tries to compress the fork.

A Motion fork is not affected by the rider’s weight or the different levels of power exerted when braking. It is not subject to any electronic or hydraulic management. The operation is instantaneous and invariable in time.

The "anti-dive coefficient" is adjustable to the design.

Our technology has no limit in terms of travel and is as light as the best current constructions on the market. Framework integration and compatibility with standard components are total.

PULLED BLADE TECHNOLOGY

ATMOSPHERIC TECHNOLOGY

The internal pressure of hydraulic dampers required for their operation generates very high frictions around the internal floating piston (IFP) and the sealing devices. The consequence is a loss of grip and comfort.

MOTION technology allows the design of atmospheric pressure dampers. The IFP can be eliminated and sealing is not needed anymore! The damper is perfectly reliable since leaks are simply made impossible ...

Atmospheric Technology allows to create a self-cooled damper if needed. A secondary fluid circuit then extracts the calories and eliminates the problem of overheating which current technologies

suffer from.

EVO TECHNOLOGY

Evo technology consists in separating physically and completely the elements of oil movement from those responsible for the energy dissipation.

This architecture allows an optimization of the fluid flow

without limit and the integration of new features which revolutionize the performances of the damper: The Integrated Hydraulic Buffers and The High-Frequency Filtering Piston.

INTEGRATED HYDRAULIC BUFFERS

Current dampers use plastic end-of-stroke buffers to handle the last few millimeters of rebound and compression. These buffers reduce the effective travel

of the damper and therefore their performance. In addition, these buffers do not absorb the residual energy of travel buffer but returns this energy in part, which generates a rebound effect.

 

No matter the shocks, the Integrated Hydraulic Buffers allow the use of 100% of the travel and dissipate 100% of the residual energy. Gain in absorption capacity is considerable.

Thanks to a perfect management of the travel buffer, regulation of the fuid flow can be optimised for the efficient area to reach very high performances.

HIGH FREQUENCY FILTERING PISTON

We all seek to improve sensitivity of dampers to increase comfort and grip performance. This is what MOTION is revolutionizing with Atmospheric technology.

But once friction is eliminated, sensitivity comes up against another physical phenomenon: dynamic effect. The oil has a mass and therefore opposes a resistance under motion. The higher the speeds (high frequency

vibrations), the more this phenomenon increases. From a certain frequency, any damper is counted as a rigid element and is no longer able to absorb shocks ...

 

But MOTION has developed the High Frequency Filtering Piston. It is simple. Above a certain frequency, the piston is «disconnected» and doesn’t transmit any more oil movement. From now, high frequencies can no longer

be transmitted to the bike or the rider.

The filtering performance of our technology is infinite! Gains in comfort and grip are considerable.
